Vineyard Homes (local builder in the East Van Buren-West Kalamazoo county area) has purchased 40 acres in Mattawan on 25th Street, just South of Red Arrow Highway, where we are planning to develop an active adult retirement community.
Highlights of this 55+ community will include age in place construction features, such as single floor living areas, no step entries, and barrier free access; as well as walking trails, and a meeting center (clubhouse). Home designs will feature two car garage, front porch, 2/3 bedrooms and 2 baths with office/den area, master suite, abundant storage space. Amenities will include walking trails, on site storage, maintenance free living, pond, and a clubhouse.
